Viking Fridge Relay Part #014808-000 No Longer Available – Any Compatible Alternative?
We recently bought a house with an existing Viking refrigerator (built-in model), but it’s not producing water or ice. A certified Viking technician diagnosed the issue and said the relay (part #014808-000) needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, this part has been discontinued and is unavailable from Viking or any online sources—I’ve searched extensively for two days.
Has anyone dealt with this issue before? Is there a compatible non-Viking relay that we could safely use as a replacement? It feels incredibly wasteful to replace the entire fridge over a small, unavailable part. Any advice, compatible part suggestions, or repair workarounds would be hugely appreciated!
