I’m about to buy a stove for a rental house and thought I’d check here first. Sounds like a good deal: $40, clean, one-owner, everything supposedly works. They removed the electric pig-tail to use on another stove. Will this be a difficult item to find or expensive given the age of the stove?
You can find the pigtails at any major retailer of appliances. All you need to know is if you have a 3-prong or 4-prong wall outlet. Easy to find, and age does not matter.
This morning I searched a little further on line and called a local electrician so now I know they’re almost universal, easy to install and inexpensive. This evening I picked up the $40 stove which is as clean and sharp as advertised. Not sure about the energy efficiency of this 1993 range…probably not good. Thanks for your informative reply.
