Update on leaking fridge please help

Hello I posted a couple days ago about water by my fridge. I narrowed it down to some part of the evap system during the defrost cycle. I decided to pour some water in the drain in the freezer. I will post a picture of where the water is leaking from. Not sure if there’s a seal around that part of the line where it enters into the freezer or should I just replace the evaporation drain line.. Thank you

What is the model number of this refrigerator?

LFSS2612TE4

Thank you for any help

It is possible that the tube has a clog and the water is overfilling and leaking, or it could be that the tube has come loose. The tubing can be removed and inspected for any clogs. If it is not clogged, and the tubing end is not damaged, try placing it back in securely.

This video will help and uses the exact part number as yours! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyZ1fAf8eoM

Thank you very much there was no clog it seemed like it was just loose so I just shoved it back in there and poured water in the drain hole in the freezer. No leaks.

Thank you again

Yeah the video lead you in the right place for sure! To change that drain tube would be a Royal pain for sure!

Yeah it doesn’t look to fun to do. So far so good though. Somehow it must have pulled loose. Haven’t had any issues with leaks yet. Im assuming at some point in moving/cleaning under the fridge it got hit and loosened up. I have the new tube just in case but fingers crossed I don’t have to go though that fun.

Thanks for the help and the video
