Unknown part for front load Kenmore seal gasket

Main Symptom: missing piece
What happens & when: I had my friend replace the door seal gasket on my Kenmore front load washing machine but the short rubber flexible piece that attaches the door seal to the bottom of the washing machine is missing and most likely got thrown out with the old gasket. I cannot seem to find that specific part or even know exactly what that part is called. I have already asked many people and they either want to charge an insane fee just to tell me what the part is and the part number or they have no idea. That is the only thing that is keeping me from being able to use my washing machine. Please help!

Hi Mom,

That’s actually the drain hose. It carries the water and debris out of the washer during the drain cycle, and it connects to the door boot.

Let me see if I can find the part you’re actually looking for. Once I find it, I’ll send you the correct link.

Does it come with the clamps to connect it?

You’re welcome! I’d recommend keeping the old clamps just in case, but I believe the new part comes with them. Let us know if you need anything else!
