Uneven Heating in oven

Oven is not cooking evenly. upper burner heats on both bake and broil. The oven made a “pop” and flash as if a lightbulb had broken. However, everything still seems to work well other that uneven cooking in oven. Temperature control thermostat? Advice would be greatly appreciated.
