Hi, I am hoping I can find a guide to trouble shoot my ice maker… the water supply line is not crimped… no ice is produced… no previous ice is jamming the motion of the discharge fingers… I am guessing the water valve that controls the “refill” cycle is plugged or the sensor to excite the refill valve is not working… I have heard the ice discharge gear motor try to work and have seen the ice discharge fingers rotate… can you help me with your suggestions…
Thank you - Rich
Hello. Check and make sure the fill tube for the ice maker is not frozen over. Also, make sure the water is turned on going to the refrigerator. If so, and the ice maker is cycling properly, you will need to replace the water valve. Hope this helps.

You can stick 115 volts to the icemaker solenoid in the back for 6 - 9 seconds to see if the icemaker mold fills up. If ok, and the freezer temperature is below 15 degrees, you probably have a bad icemaker, bad mold heater connections.
