I have a Kenmore self-cleaning electric oven. Model number 665.95775890. It has been giving me problems off and on for the past few months. At first the top warmer would stay on instead of turning off when the bottom burner turned off during cooking. Then it would do that and it wouldn’t turn off. The last time it did it it went into cleaning mode while cooking and could not be turned off. It got extremely hot and even made the stove light turn on. Usually unplugging it would reset it and it would be fine. This time it took several days and when plugged back in it said cleaning complete (something along those lines. not sure of exact words) I turned on the oven and then turned it back off but later realized that the top burner was still on. Is this fixable or is it time to be replaced?
Sounds like the control board is shot.
Unfortunately it looks like this board is obsolete.
