Thermador Range Hood

Range Hood stopped working. Nothing, Nada when the buttons are pressed. Checked to see that control unit is getting 120v from the house supply, it is.
Replaced the control unit and the buttons. Still nothing.
One strange this is, when I test for current from one of the hot leads to the hood itself, there’s current; 120v. Can this be the problem?
Thanks,

Your current test is normal and shows that your hood is properly grounded which is a good thing… There’s only so much on an appliance that can go wrong and range hoods have a minimal number of parts… You’ve eliminated one of them by replacing the control so the next stop is the motor… With power disconnected and wires removed from the motor you can make a continuity test through the motor to check for an open winding… No continuity = open winding which means replace the motor… You didn’t list a model number so I can’t see a picture of this hood or it’s parts so this is all assuming the motor being powered is an A/C one and not a DC one…

Thanks for the quick reply.
The Model Number is PH48CS/01
FD# 880900014

Would a bad motor also knock out the lights?
