Hi, I’ve been facing a similar issue with a Thermador Microwave. When you tell it to cook, it will for a moment before switching to “cooling mode.”

The microwave’s model number is 16-11-157.

Thanks!

This is not a valid Thermador model number. Verify and repost it.

Hmm, it notified it as the model number, but if that’s not the case, perhaps it’s one of the following numbers:

Type: S333
F00074U60AL

FCC ID: ACLAP4u01
Serial #: 6HN2140243

Thanks!

If this is an oven/microwave combo then the model number most likely is on the oven door frame.

Was a solution for this problem ever determined?

I have the same Microwave and model number and would like to know if there is any way to fix it.

I looked on the inside of the door frame and the model number listed is definately #15-11-157

The microwave starts and stop immediately after a few seconds. Tried turned off the power and turned it back on, the microwave still acts the same. Please advise what I should do. Thanks!

I am having the same problem. I have a 2002 Thermador oven/microwave combo unit SME272ZS. The microwave has started cooling when I turn it off, even if I run the microwave for 10 seconds. It cools for about a minute. I know that I need to replace a switch that controls the door (the unit stopped recognizing she the door was shut and therefore would not run).

Any thoughts on how to fix the excessive cooling issue?
