Brand: Thermador Harmony Pro Range Model Number: PLR304EH/01 Main Symptom: Error Code 3 blinks top light; 4 blinks bottom light (oven lights but doesn’t stay lit. Error indicates sensor replacement needed) What happens & when: Oven turns on for a 30 seconds and the turns off. Error Lights begin to blink after stove is reset. 3 top and then 4 bottom. I have all the parts needed to repair, but I can’t get the top range burners off to access the control board which is only accessible under the stove top. The appliance is 2005 vintage. I need advice on how to access the control board.

Hello, due to the age of the unit, I am unable to find any parts diagrams for it. From past experience working on them, the top burners usually have to come off. There would possibly be screws that go around the top in order to remove it. Once the top is off, you should be able to see a path to removing the front console.
Have you tried penetrating oil? Those venture tubes will feeze on. You want to be careful you don’t try and muscle it off. You can break gaslines in the process. I have used a circular saw bit for a drill and cut those off. you can usually find and replace the venture tube, but make sure before you start cutting.
