I need to know where to get parts for this type of wall heater…VERY COMMON throughout USA all my life…had a flat chrome grill face over 110ac heater coil…when you turned it on the coil got hot & radiated heat…BUT I SEE NOW…children COULD stick their little fingers in it & get burned & IF YOU HUNG YOUR TOWEL over it…it WOULD start a fire…so even this question is probably a federal crime…still…any co-conspirators out there with answers?
I agree on what you are saying it is so dangerous when the heater is placed where children can reached it, that’s why I rather choose to use a bathroom ceiling heater in our house so that I would not be afraid leaving my kids while taking their bath.
I too am looking for parts. The grill specifically. I’ve just installed a new fan type heater in the space of my old Thermador wall heater. After I threw out the original heater element, I cut a few of the steel crosses out to put in a duplex plug wired to the original switch. I used this for the vacuum and for a stand alone space heater in winter. Now that I have installed the new heater there is a hole right where the fan sucks in. Anybody know where to get one?
