If there is no water getting into the icemaker, check to make sure that the fill tube is not frozen. If it is then this will be caused by a faulty water valve that would need to be replaced.
I have checked that and it’s fine so what’s the next step ?
Just recently (earlier this month) I discovered my ice maker was NOT making ice, right before I needed it to store up ice in shopping bags prior to taking a 3-day trip (with a cooler.)
Fast work-around: I tossed some common water bottles into the freezer so they’d turn into LARGE ice blocks: That worked for the trip.
But before I left for the trip, I took my fingers and fiddled around in the ice cube molds and fidgeted with the turning brackets.
By the time I’d come home, the bucket was again full of cubes.
(And no, this has nothing to do with that armature that lifts and sets to determine if the bucket is full or not. It had gone 24 hours with an empty bucket, which was why I used the water bottles as back-up ice blocks in the cooler.)
