subzero ice maker not working

My Subzero model 550 refrigerator with freezer drawer and ice maker below does not make ice cubes. I’m looking for troubleshooting advice. Is it likely the solenoid valve and, if so, where is it located? What else is likely cause?

My Subzero model 550 refrigerator with freezer drawer and ice maker below does not make ice cubes. What could it be?

the freezer tempature must be around zero F, check that first, too warm and it wont be cold enough,

the water solenoid could be bad, or the ice maker itself is bad.

is there any water in the ice maker, is it frozen? does the ice maker ever turn ?

if there is no ice or water in the ice maker, try pouring some water in it, wait a hour or two and check to see if the ice has dumped . if it did , did it refill with water? no then water fill valve is a good bet . otherwise its the I/M

the fill valve is located under the refrigerator back behind the kick plate. must lay on floor and reach back to get to it , not easy.

It is a used fridge that we just got. It was a floor model and the ice maker has never been used. Yesterday, we replaced the ice maker, the water valve, the solenoid and the switch from the old fridge where the icemaker was working. None of these things worked. Checked all of the wiring and it all seems fine.
Since the icemaker was never used before could it be some simple switch that needs to be turned on that we are missing?

what is the tempature in the freezer?
there is a ice on / off switch on the shelf, but I think you said you checked it.

Don’t know the temp of the fridge, but put regular ice trays in and they did freeze quickly. But not sure where the on off switch is that you mentioned. What shelf?
