I have a Whirlpool refrigerator that recently stopped working. With the help of this website, I have identify it’s the start relay’s problem. My start relay has a part number of 2213763 which translate to appros.com part number AP3608944.

As people can see, there is 4 terminal on the part, labeled as 1,2,3,4. The wire are 2 blue(compactor) goes to 2,3 and 1 white goes to 1 (power).
Before I bought the part, I came accross tons of post from both this site and some other site include this following post

that suggest GE WR07X10051 is a much cheaper replacement to my original start relay that does the same job so i bought it. GE WR07X10051 Relay, AP3414961 | AppliancePartsPros.com
The problem is the part i ordered only have 2 terminal one there. If you check the second picture of the WR07X10051, you can see position 2 and 3 are same as my original part. 4 is not there which is ok since i don’t have a wire goes to it. The problem one is flat which is what i’m suppose to connect my power to.
I’m wondering how should i connect this thing. Right now i’m thinking soldering the metal plate from my old part on to 1 but don’t know if the internal of this two part actually are the same. If i’m suppose to do something else, what i’m about to do might mess up the compressor from what I heard. Any help would be very helpful.
The other option is of course it re-buy the part. Of course I can buy the orignal part at $50 and be done with it but the same post I mentioned before suggest another GE part WR07X10055 that looks identical to my original part which is only $10. Anyone know am I able to get away of ordering the cheaper part or I risk damage my compressor.
Thanks
