Main Symptom:Start relay needs replacing. I ordered part #WP10097204. This is part is a 2 pin relay while the compressor is a 3 pin male?? I need help!

I don’t see how the 3rd pin for the over and the 2 pin start relay is going to occupy the same space? The 2 pin relay looks like it would pin up flush to the compressor if the third pin was not there?? It is a head scratch er to see how these two parts can marry up and cause the compressor to run??
