Squealing noise after changing Gearcase

Main Symptom: Washer was previously really loud on spin cycle (which was solved by changing the transmission), which I replaced on September, 2025. As of right now, it has started making a squealing sound (not a roaring like it previously did). Does this mean the gearcase is defective? On spin cycle there’s a continuous squealing noise. For a few months it was fine but last month the washing machine began squealing spin cycle just around Christmas time.

Check and ensure that the rotor and clutch assembly are in place and bolts are tight before condemning the drive assembly (gearcase).
