Sprayarm wont move

The water in the dishwasher dosent want to move the spray arms. I did take the sprayarm off and cleaned some of the soap buildup.

Got alittle braver and removed the torx screws and lifted the cover, this exposed the impeller, I removed the screw that has a plastic bushing on it.

How do you remove this impeller?
The only reason I want to remove it is to inspect it !

Am I on the right track here???/

UPDATE:

I got the impeller out but not without braking it, so I need to order that!

I removed the seperator and I thinking this is where the problem is. I really dont know what the purpose of part, but it has a small porthole that either drains or fill I would think, It was clogged with soap. I had to dig this out with a screw driver thats when I found the porthole. Very had to see because of its location (see picture).

My question is could this be the problem of not enought water preasure to spin the arms?

My other question is what is the best soap to use? We had no problems before my wife starting buying some price chopper type soap from Sams club:eek: . I think we used Cascade with no problems, no sure though.

Here are some more pictures of the parts being delt with.

Part number 303539 pictured has the drain impeller completly broken off the site offers a picture of it here:Part Details - WHIRLPOOL Drain & wash impeller kit, part number: AP3115180

If I were to going to check for proper washing and draining again I would just place the washer on its side and remove the check valve, then look into the drain base (black plastic), you will see the broken impeller (gray plastic) for the draining of the washer. I took some #10 guage wire and moved the broken impeller, do this while not letting the moter turn. If it moves its broken.

I havent seen much info on replacing this part but it looks to me like the motor & pump assembly must be removed . If so must I order a new gasket also?
Any help with this.

If you use a small powerful flashlight you can find the impeller in the drain housing.
