Spin mode only works intermittently with no relation to cycle type

Main Symptom: Only spins sometimes, regardless of cycle type
What happens & when: Not spinning every time, replaced lid lock switch assembly, problem persists. Lid lock appears to be functioning properly and the lid lock light is on. Sounds like it’s in agitate mode but tub does not move. Appears to drain properly. No grinding sounds heard.

Error Code (if any): 1, 13, 29, 3, 18
Parts or tests already tried: Ge WH08X37938. Ran all diagnostic tests (7 through 15) and all tests were good. Spin worked fine. Lid lock sensor was good.

I know there is a service bulletin for this issue (Service Bulletin HL04-18). How can I know that this is the fix. With the lid lock kit I already installed, plus the update module, I’d be out $200 or so if that isn’t the fix, and I’d rather just buy a new one at than pay $200 to have a still broken washer.

There is a software update that you can get for this issue. They had a service bulletin out for the problem and here is a link for the software update module.
