I have a Whirlpool Cabrio that is having balance issues. It freqently erros unbalanced load during the spin cycle. From what I have read so far, it seems that a new suspension kit will likely remedy this issue. I am also having issues with it OCCASIONALLY spattering what looks like grease from the bottom of the motor housing. It may be water, I’m not sure. Can this leaking be caused by a suspension issue that will stop once I replace the suspension? I have seen a few instances where people are told to replace the whole tub assembly to fix this leak. I am having a hard time swallowing the idea that I need to spend over $300 on parts to fix a $500, 5 year old washing machine. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.
