The soap dispenser does not always open and release the soap during the washing cycle.
My Frigidaire DW has the same problem. Tech came out and said the soap dispenser needed replacing. I ordered the part from APP. It arrived the very next day. However, that did not solve the problem. I now need technical advise as to my next step. (Other than returning the part, which I’ve already started.)
