[FONT=Arial Black]This is my second time posting this question. I received the soap dispenser latch kit for this model and it is the correct part but the reciever or female part does not match the original one. I can’t figure out how to install it. please help:confused: [/FONT]
Hello ALSWAG52. Here are the instructions from the manufacture for the latch kit. Hope this helps.
Disconnect the power to the unit.
Remove the 9 torx head screws and remove the inner door panel.
Turn the inner door panel over and remove the plastic cover off the dispenser. Remove the old lock ring and latch from the dispenser. Pay attention to how the old latch is installed. When you go to put the new piece on before you interlock them make sure they are put on right. Specifically the latch is pointing the right way to seal the detergent door.
Verify that the door is locking properly on the latch assembly.
Reinstall the inner door panel onto the dishwasher.
Turn power back on and verify the latch is opening properly during the wash cycle.
