Soap dispenser door does not open

Soap dispenser door on Magic Chef diswasher does not open up at all during wash cycle.

Open the door about half way. Make sure the timer knob is in off position and close the dispenser door. Slowly rotate the timer knob for a whole circle.

If the dispenser door opened, make sure the lower dish rack is properly installed and it is not turned around.

Otherwise post the results.

Gene, Thank you, it does open with the door open. But, no mater how I put the rack in it catches the dispenser. I will have to check and see if this has the correct rack in it, since I have rented this house out for a while maybe it got switched.

Very likely there is something inside the dishwasher what interferes with the dispenser door.
