Slow to ignite after changing ignitor

Our oven stopped working a while ago, and haven’t used it since. I finally got around to doing some troubleshooting and found that the ohm reading for the ignitor was off. I then ordered a replacement part and installed. Now I can see a huge difference in how bright the new ignitor is compared to the old one, and after a few minutes it does come on with a boom and a pretty strong gas smell. I checked the broil burner, but there are no visible holes indicating that is the problem. Any advice would be very much appreciated, thanks.

Just resolved the problem… took another look and found that my placement of the ignitor inside the mount was off. I made the necessary adjustments and TADAAA!! a working oven!!

Hotpoint rgb745wea2ww stopped functioning in Bake mode. Broiler is fine. I got a replacement Ignitor, after noting that the original had cracked and missing ceramic on the nose, inside the metal caging. Replaced the Ignitor, and did a quick test. All appeared normal, as the iIgnitor came on, followed by the gas, and flame. Tried the oven today, and set it to 250. Oven came on as expected, and heated up nicely. After about 3 minutes, all shuts down, and now I can’t get any response from the Bake cycle Ignitor, while the Broiler works normally. I have read through a number of posts, but don’t see this situation. Thank you
