Slow Drip in Rinse Cycle from Bottom Center of Door

A couple days ago, we noticed warm water slowly dripping from bottom center of our 20 month old Frigidaire’s door during the rinse cycle. No water coming from the corners or at any other time. Arms and seals appear to be undamaged.

During the last two rinse cycles, I noticed that the unit is not venting steam like it used to. Could steam be collecting inside the door and dripping down instead?

Replacement bottom door seal is 12 bucks and there is a video that shows how to replace it on this site.

For the heater if you can unplug the machine and remove one or both of the wires from the heating element and measure it’s resistance with a meter you can tell if the element has failed. An open or short is failed. A normal reading should be around 10-20 ohms or near that.

If the element is good repost again.

Check if your machine is under warranty, if 20 months old it may still be.
