Slide In Range Removal

I have a Jennair JES9800AAB slide in range, and one of the burners is not working. A few months ago the light indicating On stopped working properly (would show on when clicked off, would show off in some positions), then a few weeks ago I turned the switch to Low, the burner went to full high and shut off. That burner has not worked since.

I would like to pull the control panel and check the switch, but there are two screws obscured by the countertop. I am looking for advice on how to release the range to pull it out about 1 inch. I understand one of the legs may be secured to an anti-tip bracket, and I may need to disconnect the air duct. Should I expect any screws between the range and the cabinets it’s installed between?

Also, the trim around the glass top is siliconed to the countertop, which I’m told may not be recommended. Jennair chat support said there is supposed to be a gap all around for air flow, but a gap would allow stuff to drip between the range and the cabinets, so I will replace the silicone unless you guys advise against. I’m not sure the rep understood where I was describing.

Please don’t hesitate to ask for any clarification. I can also post pictures if that would be helpful.
