What does the evaporator coils look like in the freezer. Any information you can share will help us help you. Is it running all the time?
I have not broken down the refer just know that the fan had periods of being noisy intermittently then the top half of the freezer defrosted. the bottom half is still frozen and the bottom part of the fridg is still very cold
You may have a defrost issue or a sealed system problem, You will need to remove the rear cover for the evaporator and look at the coils. Send us a picture and we can help you.
At this time that isn’t possible as it is in a recessed spot and hard to move. could just the evaporator fan not working be the problem on it’s own ?
Is the evap fan running? If not, you need to look at it to check if it is stuck or why it is not running.
I haven’ heard it run for two days and will try to get to it today. Have to empty the freezer to access and will let you know !

I have reached the fan and it is not running . It is free spinning but wobbly in place . Plugged the refer in to check that. Are there any fuses that would interfere or is is just bad and needs to be replaced ?
If it is getting voltage and not running, it is bad.
I have a volt meter but which wires are negative and positive as there are 4 ?
Doesn’t matter, two wires, two probes, you are checking AC voltage, 120 volts
Finally was able to remove it. It is WR60X10043 also a new fan blade as a housing screw broke and threw it out of balance . there is no dust cap . Would those parts be available to order ? Definitely not a 60 minute job. getting wire connectors loose was a real pain
