Got a cheap Samsung front loading washer on Craigslist. The soap housing had holes, so therefore had significant leakage. I’ve patched the housing and will order a replacement as soon as I figure out this shock issue.
What is the proper action for a shock absorber? It seems to provide reasonable dampening in both directions, but there’s a roughly 1 inch of motion with no dampening at any particular position.
Is this normal behavior? Should it dampen the whole length of it’s motion?
Thanks,
