Main Symptom: most buttons not working
What happens & when: The large circular cycle selector knob, as well as most of the buttons (temp. selection and soil level) simply don’t work most of the time. However after some spamming of the buttons or turning off and on repeatedly, they still work some of the time. The washer still seems to operate well and normally with whatever settings it might be stuck on at a given time. Could this be something like a loose \ faulty ribbon cable?

It sounds like there is a failure with the control board. On the model tag, there should be a version number or revision number (ver or rev). What number, if any, does yours have?
