Samsung Refrigerator lights don't work

Main Symptom:Refrigerator lights don’t work
What happens & when: Freezer lights work fine, Refrigerator lights will only work if you unplug the unit and plug it back in then the refrigerator lights will work for about 10-15 minutes and then they stop again. Main board has been replaced and a new read switch has been installed.

When you reset the fridge by cycling power, does it seem like the lights are cycling on and off with the doors as they are opened and closed until the lights go out completely? This model uses magnetic reed switches instead of rocker switches for the fridge doors. You can usually test them by removing the top cover on top of the fridge and holding a magnet to both of them to see if the lights go out and come back on when the magnets are removed.

If those lights seem to be always staying on for the 10-15 minute period after power is cycled then at least one of those reed switches DA34-00043J is probably bad.
