If the burner will not regulate temperature, then the switch is bad, not the element. Tell me which element we are talking about. The connection is bad and you can go to a hardware or automotive store and get a new metal terminal, just take the wire terminal with you so you can match up the proper wire gauge. If you don’t splice in a new terminal end, you are replacing the entire wire harness and that can be a nightmare.
The front right burner (large, multi-size, fast boil) continues to heat at any temp over low. (Dangerously high temp). Not not sure which switch I need. I think it’s DG44-01006B Range Dual Surface Element Switch | Genuine Samsung OEM In Stock
But your search returned several for my model. Plus, I’ll need to replace the wire cover at least which is damaged.
If your element is a dual element, then yes, that is correct. As far as the wire connection, are there any other numbers or letters after the S in your model number?
AA follows the model number.
