Hi all! I know that Samsung appliances suck but I’m trying to figure out how to remove the Ice Room Case Assembly (the shell that surrounds the ice maker) I’ve Googled, You tubed till the cows came home and they couldn’t help me :joy: Has anyone ever done this before because they did the unthinkable and left the hair dryer in to long and it warped the walls so as to not allow the ice to fall, maybe? or am I the only idiot in the world? Hope I can get an answer from someone, take care all!

Everything I’m finding on this one shows that ice room as part of the liner and non-serviceable. From the picture it looks like you’ve taken everything out that can come out.

I’ve ordered the part for it so it does come out  This is the part https://www.samsungcanadaparts.com/product/DA97-13405A-Samsung-Refrigerator-Ice-Room-Case-Assembly

Ah, I wasn’t pulling it on any of the diagrams. Looking at the part itself it appears there may be some screws along the top right that go up into the liner.

I’ve read on Reddit that others have done the same thing with the dryer but yet don’t tell us how they ended up fixing it. I’ve searched on Google, YouTube ECT and everyone shows how to remove the guts but there’s no videos on how to remove that part. Once I get the part in, I’ll most likely end up carefully tearing it up apart and go from there.
