Main Symptom:drum not spinning/intermittent
What happens & when: washer was acting up while I was out of town, I dont know if it dropped the error code for the water pump filter.. but she cleaned it out as thats been a problem in the past. It was very full of crap.. got it cleaned out.. still not spinning. I got home started messing with it not spinning.. tried quick wash and it started the cycle.. started turning one way.. then turning the other adding water.. then would just stop. On regular cycles it seemed to just sit and “think” two sets of lines would make circles on the display.. continuously. No error codes. I found a deal to make the machine self diagnose. Everytime it gets to the high speed spin test it either barley moves or spins for a second then stops and kicks error code 3c2. From what I see that’s a Inverter board/hall sensor problem. I tried testing the voltages on the 4 pin sensor going to the hall sensor. All 4 terminals have between 162 and 167 volts, orange, blue, red, and pink. I do notice a spot in the resin of the inverter board.. near the three small capacitors that have some dark discoloration bleeding around the capacitors and onto some of the circuits. Its not blatantlyburned or leaking.. but looks suspect. Im thinking its the board. This thing had all kinds of stickers with QR codes on em.. but they arent much help.. one on the top doesnt match the part number i came up with.. but didatch the sticker under the board on the plastic housing. DC92-01531C. Which is the number appliancepartspros said in my chat, but he recommended it come here for technical support to see if another part may be a problem. The hall sensor having about 163ish volts to all 4 wires seems suspect to me and the discloration.. also.. the somewhat intermittent operation of the drum movement.
