Parts or tests already tried: checked seal. Emptied lint basket. Checked exhaust tube. Air flowing out of the house. Dryer runs. Not sure if there is 2 codes or if there is how to look up the second code.

The DE error is usually that the control does not recognize that the door is closed. Check the door switch and wiringfrom the switch back to the control. To retrieve an error code: Press & hold two buttons: dryness and wrinkle prevent, the error code will pop up after about 6 seconds. To run diagnostics: Start at an idle state; press the power button, then press and hold the adjust time up and down for approximately 7 seconds until SC displays on the screen, then press start…it will start running, and after a few seconds, the error will display if there is one.

The drum stops turning if i open the door. Everything works except for the heat. If i start the dryer it shows 42 mins for a cycle it runs 2 mins then the clock changes to 1 min to go then shuts off because there is no moisture in there because it is empty. Does the door latch button have anything to do with the heating element?
