2 days ago, my dryer abruptly stopped drying halfway through a cycle after making a loud noise (I suspect the belt snapping?). Since then, the dryer had power but would not spin or heat. After moving it to clean out some lint and the vent, the dryer would no longer turn on.

I just pulled it apart today to see that the belt was snapped. I replaced the belt, thermostat, thermal fuse, and element and after putting the machine back together, it still will not turn on.

With no display or anything, double check all wiring connections and check the thermal fuse and power supply to make sure that there is 240 Vac.

Thanks for the reply. On the back of my dryer, im getting 120 V between the red and black wires (both hot). 4 prong outlet has 240 V between the 2 hots. Tested the power cord and each of the 4 prongs has 0 ohms.

Im not getting a reading when i test my control panel.

What is the most likely issue? Is it the power cord?
