Don’t know how it happened but I found one of the fins broken of the bottom part of the agitator after a wash cycle. I want to replace the bottom agitator only. I believe the part # is AP2906554. How hard are these to replace? Can anyone provide instructions?
thanks

I would recommend to replace the whole agitator assembly. The difference in price is less than $15. I believe as soon you will take the agitator apart to replace the base, you’ll find the agitator dogs worn out. So you’ll end up ordering more parts.
Remove the fabric softener dispenser and the inner cap. Unscrew the agitator bolt and pull the agitator straight up.

That makes sense to me. Wasn’t sure how difficult it was to remove and replace. Thanks Gene
