This dryer is 1.5 yrs old. it will not start. I checked and I have 240 at wall and at cord terminal. I have continuity on thermal fuse also i tried bypassing the door switch…any ideas? Thank you in advance
Check the push-to-start switch for continuity. It should read close to 0 Ohms while it’s depressed. If the reading is incorrect, replace the switch.

I just tried that still no start
How did you do it?
How did you bypass the door switch?
Does the dryer make any noises when you tried to start it?

no noise…I unpluged the door switch and took a small wire and made a closed circuit on the connector from the dryer.

Check for 120 VAC between any of the thermal fuse terminals and the ground while the timer is On and the door is closed.
Post the results.
