My Samsung Bottom Freezer ice maker slowly stopped working. Technician troublehooting listed 2 parts for replacement:
ASSM Case Filter & Pipe Heater - What are the part numbers?
Why do I need the ASSM Case Filter? The previous repair only required the pipe heater which was an easy replacement at the back of the fridge.
If the water for the icemaker and the dispenser are working then the case filter assembly should not be needed. Here is a link to the pipe heater.

Thank you. I also found this on your website Samsung DA97-00209Z Refrigerator Ice Maker Fill Tube Assembly OEM Part and I will use this to save some time. Do I need to defrost anything in and around this assembly prior to installation.
Try to use a hair dryer, being very careful to not overheat and try to melt ice in the tube. If not able to do this you should still be able to get it out.
