Request for KenMore oven Calabration instructions

This oven is 30 degrees low and the standard ways of calabration won’t reset it. And the tech sheet does not say how. Does any one know what the steps are?

I am guessing here but your control looks like an ES300 control so perhaps it will work.

Calibration:
To check oven calibration:

  1. Place a thermometer or thermocouple in the center of the oven.
  2. Program the oven for bake and the temperature to 350° F. Allow the oven to cycle three times.
  3. Average the highest and lowest readings. The average should be within 10° of 350° F.

To change the calibration:

  1. Touch the bake pad on the control, and using the up arrow set the oven temperature to maximum (550° F).
  2. Within 3 seconds touch and hold the bake pad (about 5 seconds) until “00” appear in the display.
NOTE: If any numbers other than “00” appear in
the display, the control has been previously
    calibrated in the field.
  3. By using the up or down arrows the calibration temperature can be changed + or - 35° F.
  4. When the desired calibration is reached, touch the cancel pad to return the control to normal operation

I’ll try this. Thankyou very much

Jamie Pancake[/quote] This must be different. I tried this and It would not proceed to “00” . Could this be a different type EOC? It only goes up to 500, not 550.

Can you offer another suggestion?

Thank you so much for your time. I know you must be very busy. Hope you day goes well

Thanks again

The unit is actually a Frigidaire so I looked up Frigidaire units that use this timer.

Following is one of them perhaps it has the correct procedure.
If this does not work then odds are that it is not settable.
