I have a Jenn-Air stove/range, both right hand burners are inop I’ve tested for voltage at the burner connector and getting zero volts. I’m trying to test the infinite switches but can’t figure out how to get to the switches. I’m hesitant to remove the eight screws holding the drip pans in place affarid I may not be able to lift the pans back into place to reinstall the screws. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi.
It looks like you need to take off the screws under the control panel, release it from the bottom and work it up and out.
Unplug the range first.
To test the switch check for 240VAC between H1 and H2 with switch turned on.

Thank you Simon for the response.
After thinking about this for a while if the switches check bad I’ll replace them and then I will check the resistance between the switches and the connector that the cartridge plugs into, if the resistance is higher then a couple of ohms I will replace the harness but can’t figure out how to get to the cartridge connector. Four screws will drop the pan under the cartridge but not sure if this will give me access to the connector.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Hi.
Due to the unfriendly design of the range I do not recommend you to do any unnecessary repairs.
To get to the receptacle you will need to take all the screws holding the pans and lift the top off.
Thank you.
