My front bellow tore apart after 10 years and must be replaced. Of course I went to Sears and they advised to just purchase a new washer, because it would cost too much to replace the bellow. Well, needless to say, the bellow with seals only costs $82.55 w/o shipping. However, my question is - How hard is it to replace the bellow? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Itβs not that difficult to change the bellows. Attacted is a picture of the door and bellows. There is a small spring #14 and a clamp # 6 which must be removed and reinstalled on the new bellows (aka boot).
I hope this helps you out some.
