Replacing evaporator motor

Hello - our evaporator motor stopped working, so we purchased a new one. We are trying to replace it, have removed the old one that is still in its housing and the fan is attached. Is there any way to remove the fan blade?

thank you

Zeph,

Once you’ve got the fan motor bracket dismounted, the fan blade is a friction fit,it has a metal"spring tension" clip on the hub, it will slide off the motor shaft, and slide onto the new motor shaft, just make sure you install it the same way it came off, and the same lacation on the new shaft, the improper location on the shaft could create an air flow problem.

Good Luck
