Replacing an inner glass door

Can any plate glass of the same thickness and rectangular dimensions be substituted for the interior oven door glass?

Short answer… no.

I think they are all made out of tempered glass. Regular glass doesn’t do well when subjected to temperatures of 900 degrees F. (self clean can reach 900 F)
