I have a Bosch dishwasher model SPX68U55UC/45. I just ordered from your company’s website, Bosch 00656340 Dishwasher Insulating Plate OEM Part. Can you help me with a video or written instructions for replacing this part?

Das1, with the power supply to the dishwasher turned off, you can begin by removing the kickplate and outer door panel.

The outer door panel is typically secured to the inner panel using T20 screws. Remove those screws and carefully separate the outer panel from the door.

Once the panel is removed, you’ll have access to the original insulating plate. This plate is usually adhered along the top edge only. Use a putty knife to gently scrape it off.

After removal, take the time to thoroughly clean the surface where the new insulating plate will be installed. This will ensure proper adhesion.

Once the area is clean and completely dry, position the new insulating plate and press it into place using the adhesive strip included with the part.
