Replacement heating element terminals

Main Symptom: terminals on replacement part to large
What happens & when: I recently bought the WE11X21156 replacement heating element and housing for the above model number, however when I installed it the terminals on the bottom right and bottom left on the new element are larger than the ones on the originals and the wiring obviously won’t plug in to it. Can I replace the female spade connectors on the wires to larger ones that will fit the new terminals or do I need to get a different part

The manufacturer doesn’t seem to indicate anything about a design change like that, which doesn’t necessarily mean anything, but as long as everything else seems to match up and the heater is correct to this model then reterminating those wires shouldn’t be an issue.
