Replaced water pump - washer stuck in middle of cycle

Replaced water pump since cleaning it didn’t work. Now, the washer appears to be “stuck” in the middle of a wash cycle. Symptoms:

  1. All keys respond except “Start / Pause” which results in a double beep
  2. Not able to put the washer into “test” mode
  3. Water level switch has been tested and found to work properly
  4. Any water in the tub will drain when washer is plugged in
  5. No error codes when unit goes into “wake up” cycle

I’m at a loss why I can’t get the Start / Pause to respond appropriately, and even more that the washer won’t reset after being disconnected from power. I have the service guide, but without an error code or being able to access test mode, it doesn’t do me much good.

Thanks in advance…

If the “Start/Pause” button is not stuck, replace the control board.
