REplaced water filter and now water dispenser doesn't work

Main Symptom:Water not dispensing after filter replacement
What happens & when:Mild hiss but no H2) when paddle pushed

Error Code (if any):None
Parts or tests already tried:Took out new “Amazon” filter (after much difficulty).
Released by removing filter shield and pushing up gently on a spring unit between the nozzles.

Put old filter back in. Still no water.
First replacement was the last of a order of three others that worked fine. Bought new OEM filter installed it yesterday 1/8. Had compression but still - no water.

Ideas? Replace the water filter base part or check for something else?

I would look to the filter head as being the problem at this time. I could not pull up your model number. Can you recheck it and let me know? I can help locate the right part

I think the part number is AP8053015 (242009604)

Frigidaire Water Filter Base . Ordered one of these about an hour ago. Hope it’s right.
