Replaced dishwasher circulation pump assembly and still groans

Brand: kitchenaid
Model Number:KUDM01TJBS0
Main Symptom: loud groaning noise when circulating water. I replaced the pump and motor assembly with an OEM whirlpool part. I replaced it because the old pump was really loud and getting louder, everything I found said it was the pump. Installed a new pump and it makes a slightly different noise but still loud right out of the box. Checked connections twice. The groaning kind of changes tones and gets higher and lower. What else can I check? It circulates water fine as far as I can tell but just makes way more noise than it used to
What happens & when: during whole wash cycle but not during drain

Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: replaced pump and motor assembly

Hi does it sound like this (attaching an audio recording). Mine is a kitchenaid too and seeing similar symptons to you.

? ihave a similar issue and was debating on whther pump / motor replacement is the fix.

Yes very similar sound. Mine was worse before the replacement but still having issues. Not sure what it is

Based on the noise, it sounds like either the impeller or the chopper blade might be running against something and creating friction, or there might be a reverse polarity causing the circulation motor to run hard. When the circulation pump was changed out, did you happen to notice any grooves that might have looked like they might not belong on the sump housing? Also, if you have a multimeter accessible, the power supply connection at the bottom front right of the dishwasher can be accessed for a voltage test. Once the connection box cover is removed, there should be a white wire from the dishwasher harness that can be tested for Volts AC. With one meter probe in the wire connector and the other probe on the metal frame of the dishwasher, do you measure 0 Volts AC or 120 Volts AC?
