Replace upper oven thermostat

The existing thermostat is off by more than 100 degrees. The maximum adjustment is 50 degrees, so the thermostat needs to be replaced. I’m not sure of the part number; it may be 3.242. This is a self-cleaning oven. I need a replacement thermostat–new or used.

Could you please check your model number as RBE’s come up as fridges.

You could remove the old one and take it to a appliance parts supply store.
They may be able to match it for you.

If it is an analogue thermostat then the above may work but your odds would be less than if it was just the sensor.

If it is a sensor and an electronic board.
The important part is the mount and the length of the sensor.
If the wire/plug is different then you could splice in the new sensor using a couple wirenuts. Use the hard black plastic (Bakelite) type as they are more heat resistant.

The resistance/temperature ratio are pretty well standard.
