Replace spark module on Kitchenaid cooktop

I need to replace the spark module on my Kitchenaid KGCT305x cooktop.

How do you access the module? Do you actually have to remove the entire cooktop?

Thanks,

Alan

Have you received any response to your reply? Question for you! My ignitors will not shut off I had to unplug the cooktop’s electrical. What problem did you experence?

Thanks,
Rick

I cannot access the ignitor. How did you do it?

To replace spark module on cooktop in most of the brands you will need to lift top of the cooktop up, it holds on the burners, so you need to unscrew all your burners. In my case I could not get any of them out, so there was more parts involved. Watch it How To Repair Whirlpool KitchenAid Stove Cooktop HD 1080 - YouTube
