We have broken the inner glass on our Bosch gas oven door. We live in South America, so parts are hard to come by. We have a Bosch technician there who can get the glass, but not the adhesive. Can I buy high-temp silicon adhesive or do we need aluminum tape as I’ve see for other ovens in this forum. Thank you for your assistance!

Hi Michael,
You can buy High Temp Silicon Adhesive to glue the glass directly if that was the method previously used.
You can buy the correct adhesive at Oven Door High Temperature glass adhesive kit (large) - Oven Door Glue although you may be able to use the smaller kit, depending on the size of the glass and how much adhesive you need.
Thank you, Edmund. I’ve already come across this product, but just wanted to be sure that this is the proper solution.
I just replaced the inner glass in a whirlpool and was very surprised that there is no adhesive used in any of the 3 inner glass pieces. They are all attached with different parts of the door and screws. It did make replacement easy.
